Can't connect to the Internet through VirtualBox using a bridged adapter?

username

I'm trying to connect to the internet using bridged adapter mode in virtual-box? The host (win 7) is connected to the internet, but the guest (vm machine) cannot connect!

Thanks in advance.

Yogi

To connect to the internet using a bridged adapter, you should configure the virtual machine network adapter to use a similar configuration to the host (don't forget not to repeat the IP address). Alternatively, if you want an easier way, you can use a NAT bridged adapter.
